Jack Cawthorne to give cuttings digitalisation presentation at IMAGE ’22 Conference
Rockwash Director Jack Cawthorne will be presenting a paper at the IMAGE ’22 Conference in Houston, Texas, running from the 28th of August to 1st of September. The conference has an estimated 8,000 geoscientists from over 100 countries in attendance.
The presentation from Rockwash Geodata looks at how drill cuttings from legacy oil and gas wells in the UK Southern North Sea can assist with the geological characterization of structures and formations for CO2 storage, as well as offering insights into addressing regional risks associated with halite precipitation and cementation.
